Who We Are
Sanjay spent 18 years at sea, including 6 years in command of geared bulk carriers and reefers carrying a variety of cargoes worldwide. He came ashore in 1999 and worked with P & I correspondents in South Africa as a marine surveyor/marine manager, investigating a variety of incidents and claims. He also worked as Marine Loss Control Manager for a leading cargo insurer. Sanjay has been providing marine consultancy and expert witness services since 2007 and has investigated a broad range of marine incidents and disputes.

CAPTAIN SANJAY BHASIN

Vibhas spent 19 years at sea on bulkers, general cargo vessels, tankers and OBOs, including 7 years in command. After stepping ashore in 2000, Vibhas worked in several disciplines of ship operations for major shipping companies. He has been an accredited auditor, involved in incident investigations and claims and led emergency and casualty response teams. He has been actively involved with HE works in the industry, leading the Zero Harm and Behavioural Competency initiatives in his organizations. Vibhas chairs the Safety of Navigation Work Group for MPA, Singapore for various initiatives to improve navigational safety. He is also a member of the National Maritime Safety at Sea Council, the safety advisory body
to MPA Singapore.

Peter spent 30 years at sea including 5 years in command of Panamax Bulk Carriers. He has 3 years’ experience of ship operations with a London based ship operator, and 20 years’ experience as a Marine Consultant investigating a wide variety of marine accidents and claims and provide as an Expert Witness in litigation.

HASSAN PAKROO
CONSULTANT ENGINEER
Hassan spent 15 years at sea and sailed as Chief Engineer on bulk and general cargo vessels. After coming ashore, he worked with Lloyd’s Register for 20 years as Senior Surveyor and Consultant, dealing with issues such as vessel inspection, condition assessment, maintenance and performance evaluation. He also has over 7 years of experience as a marine engineer consultant and expert witness working in London and investigating marine incidents and giving evidence in arbitration proceedings.

SUGATO ROY
CONSULTANT ENGINEER
Sugato spent 14 years at sea on general cargo, tanker, gas carrier and bulk vessels, 6 of which was as a Chief Engineer. After coming ashore, he worked for 23 years with leading Ship Management Companies in various positions in Technical, Safety and Marine Operations.
